Firebrand Food and Ale in East Glacier Park

Food was good but the wait time was TERRIBLE. Arrived at 630pm on a weekday. Waited 20m for a table. And 45m for food to arrive. The two waitresses seemed to have their hands full with a very lively and busy place.Plentiful parking outside and behind the cabin.

Excellent service and food. Always stop when traveling through. Never had a problem here. Bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

Wonderful place to dine

We eat here once in awhile I love the food but recently on our last visit I was a bit unsatisfied ,The portions seemed to have gotten smaller , the hot tea water tasted like coffee beans or ashes . We tried the burger and fries and the portion was very small for that price . The garden salad had wilted lettuce and didnt seem fresh at all usually this is really good place to eat but this time idk what happen . Staff was very friendly which is a plus

First, my husband loved his meal. But that is the only positive I have. Took WAY too long to get our meal, and another waitress had to come refill my tea. Won't go back.....

Great roadside cafe, excellent food- especially the green chili Swiss cheese burger, which is an original from the menu when they opened in 1976. Excellent service, great beer and cocktail menu, and tasty, swoon-worthy food.

Great steak! Good food for a good price.

This is the place the locals go.The food is good and the staff is friendly. They have a few local beers on tap and many other bottled beers. All in all a great little place to sit back, relax, and grab a bite to eat.

Incredible service and food

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent! The server was very welcoming and friendly. He was also very funny and helped us enjoy a wonderful evening with wonderful food!

Had dinners at Ramsey's more than once. GREAT food, service, Location! I went to Highschool with Ramsey it was nice to skake his hand!

We arrived and ordered our food and it took an 1 1/2 hours till our food arrived . The portions were very very small for the price we paid, plus we asked the waitress why our food was taking so long , and she stated the cook wasn't in a rush to prepare it, plus the food was under cooked and not prepared the way we requested. I didn't want to go there this evening, but my wife insisted. The waitresses we're very friendly with us from start to finish, plus they kept apologizing for the cook. I won't be eating there again!!!

Great atmosphere and great food

My wife and I ate here last night for dinner. I had the chicken fettuccini and she had the grilled salmon. Both were outstanding and sufficient in size that we couldn't complete the meal. Wish we had a place nearby where a "doggy bag" would have worked, but not happening. The service was also very good from start to finish. The location is about two miles south of East Glacier on route 2 but worth the short drive. The ambience is very basic but the food and service were 4 star.

Wait time is terrible. But the food is really good. We spent almost 2 hours there because of how long we had to wait. If you don’t mind the wait it’s worth it.

The food is fine but they need more staff or more training. Restaurant was only half full and servers were very overwhelmed/not able to keep up with their tables. Food took a long time and we never even got the drinks we ordered.

Probably your best food option in Glacier!

We ate here on the last night of our stay in Glacier. My husband and I were so sick of burgers and were happy to see some pasta on a menu! The chicken fettuccine was delicious! My husband kept going on about how good the chicken was. The price was better than what we were paying in the Many Glacier and St. Mary areas. Beer was cold and service was good! Our server was very friendly and told us how they have seen moose and bears come over the hill that’s just behind the building. Not a ton of seating, but we did not have to wait to be seated. Full bar inside too! Anyways, definitely worth checking out if you are hungry and nearby!

Food was very slow coming out, as there was only one cook on duty and the place damn near filled up after our party of six sat. The service was horrendous, though. We were there for hours, I never got the app I ordered (the only appetizer ordered at our table), I was given a dirty glass for my soda, and my meal was not good (fried chicken- half the breading fell off before it was fried and it was seriously overcooked.

There's a reason folks drive in to this place from Browning...and it's not because it's one of the few all-season places open. It's like a family joint. Everyone there seems to know each other. Huge portions, super friendly staff.

Amazing recommendation from our new friend at Dancing Bears. Just a few miles out of town and definitely worth the drive! We read the reviews about how busy the place gets, so we went for an early dinner at 4:30. There were people seated at the bar, but all tables were open when we arrived. The special was an amazing teriyaki chicken bowl. Renzey love her bacon cheeseburger, and the breaded cauliflower and cheddar appetizer is sure to bring us back tomorrow. It did fill up by the time we were finished, but the service was friendly, the prices were good, and the food was great!

Best food I've had during my time in Montana. Everything was excellent. Very small, local eatery. Great prices, good beer options.
